I'm so glad you're here! I am Latina, a child of immigrants, a member of the LGBTQ+ community, a parent, a partner, and have been a client in therapy. I appreciate and admire the courage it took for you to take this step toward choosing you.

My desire is to come to know you and your story as it has been and to be with you as you decide what comes in the next chapter. We were never meant to go through life alone, we are all worthy of feeling loved and seen. I strive to create a therapeutic relationship filled with trust so that you can feel safe in knowing you will never be alone in your healing journey.

I enjoy working with individuals who would like to come back home to themselves. Those exploring their identity, culture, sexuality, parenthood, and relationship(s), those healing from trauma and shame. Those who seek to know themselves fully and live beyond the assumption of who they should be.

About Embodied Sol Therapy

I believe that we all have innate strengths and in order to experience a deep healing of the mind, body, and soul we need to be able to access these. Our work together with allow you to move into a space where you can embody your inner light(sol). This inner light is who you are at your core, we simply create the space to let it through.

Now that I’ve covered the touchy feely, therapist-y answer…I wanted the name of this practice to be meaningful and personal while blending core parts of my authentic self. Healing is a journey that I have been on for years and I continue to actively participate in my own therapy! My journey has included healing from trauma, shame, appeasing and yeah, you guessed it, working towards self-acceptance. Connecting to my Salvadorian roots; Sol means Sun in Spanish and pronounced just like soul, in English- which speaks to the whole-person healing approach I believe in. When you take a peek at the logo, within the sun there is a rainbow, which honors, front and center, the part of me that has taken the longest to embrace ♥
